Swatantra Sainik Samman Pension : Pension Stopped "After Marriage of Sister" Argued the Party, HC Issues Notice

In a recent writ petition filed before one of the most prestigious High Court of India, Hon'ble Gauhati High Court, the petitioner submitted that the pension has been discontinued after the death of parents and after the marriage of sister, Hon'ble J. Prasanta Kumar Deka vide Order dt. 31 March 2021 had directed the petitioner to take steps on the respondents. The details of the case are : Nibedita Saikia v Union of India in WP(C) 2367/2021.

In this case, Freedom Fighter Division, Government of India has been made respondent No.2.
