  1. Power of Magistrate to grant temporary custody of child is given in S. 21 (1) of PWDV Act, 2005.
  2. Power under S.22 can be exercised on an application.
  3. Police officer is also entitled to copy of Order under S.24 of PWDV Act, 2005. 
  4. Section 27 (c) of PWDV Act, 2005 uses the phrase "cause of action". 
  5. One can file appeal under S.29 of PWDV Act, 2005 and time limit is 30 days.
