🔹 [2023] GCtR 821 : MV Act, 1988 - Accident occurred before the year 2014 - "Injury Case" - Amount towards pain and suffering awarded more than Rs. 95,000/-  - Claimant's appeal was allowed and compensation amount was enhanced - Interest rate was kept above 8%.

🔹 [2023] GCtR 822 : MV Act, 1988 - Accident occurred before the year 2019 - "Injury Case" - Amount of Rs. 70,000/- towards pain and suffering is an insufficient amount  - Claimant's appeal was allowed and compensation amount was enhanced - Interest rate was kept above 8%.

🔹 [2023] GCtR 823 : MV Act, 1988 - Accident occurred before the year 2018 - "Death Case" - Issue is whether parents can be considered as dependents  - Insurer's appeal was allowed and principal compensation amount was reduced - Interest rate was kept below 7.5%.

🔹  [2023] GCtR 824 : EC Act, 1923 - Accident occurred before the year 2012 - "Injury Case" - Issue was the Driving Licence of the Driver of the Vehicle - Insures' Appeal was Dismissed. Interest rate was kept above 9%.

🔹 [2023] GCtR 825 : MV Act, 1988 - Accident occurred before the year 2009 - "Death Case" - Issue is entitlement of compensation when a victim's relative is the driver of the vehicle   - Insurer's appeal was dismissed and no pay and recovery was granted to insurer - Interest rate was kept above 8%.
