 Movie Review : Bhool Chuk Maaf

This movie was released recently.

The film is unrealistic in large part. Dialogues do not sound real. Name of Ranjan appeared fine but name of "Titli" sounds unreal and artificial ; rarely people keep name of Titli in Varanasi. 

Clothes worn by actors look more like an advertisement for shops selling wedding clothes. Rajkumar Rao got enough screen time ; however, only 20-22% of his screen time, he could perform. Dialogues that he spoke were unfit because movie is based in Varanasi, so he cannot be blamed for looking artificial in the dialogues. The character of mother of Rajkumar Rao played by Seema Pahwa got perhaps the best dialogues, although she got less screen time ; her expressions were the best. Wamiqa Gabbi also got poorly written dialogues and her acting was bit irritating at around 60% of the scenes because of badly written dialogues, however, she performed better than Rajkumar Rao with better expressions. The character who played role of constable and police officer also looked genuine. The artist who played character of mother of Wamiqa also acted nicely. The artist who played the character of sister of Wamiqa got enough screen time, but she appeared to be more focused on her mere presence and failed to perform as an actress ; she could have done well as appearance in dance scenes only. 

Zakir Hussain had performed brilliantly and delivered all of his dialogues well and with great expressions. The actor who played role of Mama of Rajkumar Rao had also appeared good and genuine; he got good screen time as well. Raghubir Yadav again got some poorly written dialogues and his hairstyle was bad. In some of the scenes he performed well. The role of Panditji was played nicely. The girl who played role of sister of Rajkumar Rao gave good expressions and the boy who played love interest of sister of Rajkumar Rao also acted well. 

Songs were fine ; one song of Maahi Mera though good but the background of movie based in Varanasi seems unsuitable. The Director Dinesh Vijan has directed movie "Love Aaj Kal" and should come out of his past movies and make some fresh movies.
