- ASF Buildtech v Shapoorji Pallonji and Company [2025] GCtR 973 (SC) deals with power of Court to modify arbitral award under S.34 of A&C Act, 1996. Hon'ble J. Viswanathan has given a dissenting judgment.
- Raju @ Umakant v. State of MP [2025] GCtR 978 (SC) has discussed an important issue of criminal law and criminal liability for gangrape.
- Coal India Ltd v. Commissioner of Customs [2025] GCtR 965 (SC) deals with interesting issues of Customs Act.
- Ashok Kumar Jain v. State of Gujarat [2025] GCtR 969 (SC) has quashed the criminal case where economic offences were involved and parameters of S.482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 were highlighted.
- Aman Bhatia v. State GNCTD [2025] GCtR 974 (SC) explained where stamp vendors under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 ; stamp vendors were declared public servants under PC Act, 1988.
- P. Sakthi v. Govt of Tamil Nadu [2025] GCtR 982 (SC) has explained an interesting issue of promotion of employees.
- Dr. Vimal Sukumar v. D. Lawrence [2025] GCtR 983 (SC) has discussed issue of Order 1 Rule 8 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. It was held that Order 1 Rule 8 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 does not prescribe any stage at which the application can be filed. While it is not a mandatory precondition for the institution of a suit or for the granting of interim relief, it is a procedural requirement that cannot be disregarded altogether which bears upon the binding nature of any orders issued.
- K.R. Suresh v. Poornima [2025] GCtR 976 (SC) has explained the law related to forfeiture of advance money and S.22 of Specific Relief Act, 1963.
- Shanmugam @ Lakshminarayan v. High Court of Madras [2025] GCtR 984 (SC) has discussed effect of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 on making a forged order of Court. Creating fake orders of the Court is one of the most dreaded acts of contempt of court. It not only thwarts the administration of justice, but it has inbuilt intention by committing forgery of record.
- Kalyani Transco v. Bhushan Power and Steel Co. Ltd [2025] GCtR 985 (SC) has discussed important issues related to Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The resolution plan of JSW was rejected and directions were issued to initiate liquidation proceedings of the Corporate Debtor.
- Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd v. Honnamma [2025] GCtR 996 (SC) on Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
- Power Grid Corpn of India Ltd v. CERC [2025] GCtR 1005 (SC) : Regulation 53 of Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2004 does not include within its scope replacement of ICTs due to damage or failure. Regulation 53(2)(iv) says that any additional work/services which have become necessary for the efficient and successful operation of the project but not included in the original project cost may be admitted by the CERC as additional capital expenditure.
