Compensation Principles

 *Calculation of compensation in case where victim's age is less than 14 years*. Discussed in NICL v. Farzana [2009] GCtR 4483 (Delhi)

What will be the rate of interest on compensation amount when the case for compensation is not settled within 30 days of filing of the case answered at page no. 3 of Baby Radhika Gupta v. OICL [2009] GCtR 6449 (SC).

Whether interest amount at the rate of 9% in addition to the compensation will be reduced if the insurance company argues that rate of interest should be 5% ? Discussed and answered in NICL v. Geeta Bindal [2012] GCtR 3414 (Delhi).
