Principles of Imposition of Costs on a Litigant

The case of Ramrameshwari Devi v. Nirmala Devi [2011] GCtR 6430 (SC), it was held that if due to actions of A another person B has to go for litigation, then A must be saddled with costs which should be actual costs and such costs so imposed on A should be the amount that B had to spent in litigation including Advocate's fees and other miscellaneous expenses.
