Transactions in Real Estate and Properties : Requirement of Registration of Transactions
The myth around registration was busted in Mishri Lal Karak v. Dinesh Chandra Agarwal [2012] GCtR 6373 (Allahabad). Page 12 makes it clear that agreement to sell are to be compulsorily registered in State of Uttar Pradesh after 1977. This is in consonance with Prabha Awasthi v. Nisha Richharia [2012] GCtR 6344 (Allahabad).
