Whether a Lessee is the Owner of Property ?

A tenant/lessee cannot continue to occupy the property when the landlord/lessor has directed him to vacate the property. Tenant is not the owner of the property merely by possession of the property. The Court or the tenant can never direct the landlord on how he should use his own property. Refer Surinder Singh v.
