Indirect Tax 

Central Goods and Services Tax (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2025 has added Rule 9A to the principal Rules. This rule fixes time limit of 3 days and deals with electronic registration.

Rule 14A has been added which is meant for those who liability is less than Rs. 2.5 lacs. 

FORM GST REG-03, FORM GST REG-04, FORM GST REG-05 has now been substituted. A new form FORM GST REG-32 has been added.

Customs

Through Gazette Notification CG-DL-E-31102025-267309 E.O. PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii)  for Gold, in any form, in respect of which the benefit of entries at serial number 194 of the Notification No. 45/2025-Customs dated 24.10.2025 is availed [Chapter/ heading/ sub-heading/tariff item] tariff value is fixed at US Dollar 1285 per 10 grams. 

Income Tax 

On the income tax front, CBDT's Circular No. 15/2025 issued on 29 October 2025 has extended the due date for furnishing ITR for Years 24-25 (AY 25-26) for assessee referred in clause (a) of Explanation 2 to sub-section (1) of section 139 of the IT Act, from 31 October, 2025 to 10th December, 2025.

Litigation : Income Tax Department has filed an appeal before Hon'ble High Delhi High Court challenging an Order passed by Ld. ITAT wherein the appeal has been adjourned sine die vide Order passed in September 2025 after noting the Orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court.
