Advocate Convicted by High Court in March 2023
An interesting Judgment has been passed on 16 March 2023 by Hon'ble Delhi High Court.
In Parnita Kapoor v Arvind Malik [2023] GCtR 578 (Delhi), a person who claimed to be a lawyer has been convicted for contempt of court. He has been directed to "undergo six (06) months simple imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 2,000/- and in default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo fifteen (15) days simple imprisonment." (page 12)
