Effect of Withdrawing a Petition : A Short Legal Issue
There have been many cases which were decided by Hon'ble Supreme Court on 3 October 2012.
It has become clear from Vinod Kapoor v State of Goa [2012] GCtR 2713 (SC) that once the special leave petition is dismissed as withdrawn without obtaining appropriate permission to file a special leave petition once over again after exhausting the remedy of review petition before the High Court, the same is not maintainable.
