"Press has a Duty to Speak Truth to Power" : Supreme Court in April 2023
An important Judgment is passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court on 5 April 2023.
It has been commented in Madhyaman Broadcasting Ltd v Union of India [2023] GCtR 732 (SC) thus :
"The press has a duty to speak truth to power."
"Concerns of national security do not permit an absolute abrogation of the principles of natural justice."
