Virgin Atlantic Airways Tax Case Coming up on 21 June 2021

The case filed by Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd [Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd v PCIT] where PCIT, International Taxation-2 is the opposite party, is listed before Hon'ble Delhi High Court on 21 June 2021. In this case, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Gurgaon is also one of the respondent.
It is relevant to note that A.226 of Constitution of India refers to power of High Courts to issue writs. However, A.226(2) provides for territorial jurisdiction of the High Courts. [Source : Guwahati Court Reporter (GCtR)]
