 "Justice is an Illusion" : SC

Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that "Justice is an illusion". [para 17]

This was held while dealing with a case arising out of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and Collector had made an award under S.11 of the Act. [para 2]. The petitioner had argued that courts cannot defeat the claim on certain grounds. [para 3] Here, Court had also posed the question whether vague prayer can be entertained by Hon'ble Supreme Court or not.[para 12]
