In this interesting case, the Committee had rejected the claim of caste made by X. X was earlier issued the certificate by administrative authorities. X proceeded to support her caste claim by "necessary documents". X argued on the lines of criticising the reasons given by Committee while rejecting caste claim of X. Explaining the legal position in such caste claim matters, the petition by X was allowed. The judgment also explains what is to be done in caste scrutiny matters.
The Order under challenge was quashed and set aside.
