Upcoming : Hon'ble J. Rumi Kumari Phukan's Authored Judgment Challenged

There was a case which was first listed before Hon'ble J. Suman Shyam. Then, later on it was listed before Hon'ble J. Rumi Phukan and she had authored the Judgment [citation : [2019] GCtR 759 (Gauhati)] where she supported her reasoning with the help of Judgments of Hon'ble Supreme Court after referring the impugned judgment and discussed the aspect of non-compliance of section of the Act involved in this case. It was also noted by Hon'ble J. Rumi Kumari Phukan that the decision which was challenged had "rightly appreciated the entire matters on record in proper perspective of law and facts".

In the coming week, i.e., after 4 July 2021, the petition challenging [2019] GCtR 759 (Gauhati) is listed.
