India has many different High Courts.
In a recent case [WP(C) Suo Motu 1/2019] the Division Bench of Hon'ble Gauhati High Court on 31 January 2022 had noted that "police has not completed its investigation", and then directed the DGP of Assam to "personally look into this aspect and expedite the investigation".
