Order 9 Rule 13 permits ex parte decree to be set aside.

Order 9 Rule 7 permits to set aside ex parte orders.

Order 9 Rule 8 says that where the defendant appears and the plaintiff does not appear when the suit is called on for hearing, the Court shall make an order that the suit be dismissed. Reference to Jyoti Extraction Ltd v. State of UP [2013] GCtR 5760 (Allahabad) which has held that Court has power to dismiss a suit under Order 9 Rule 8. 

Order 7 Rule 11 says plaint shall be rejected if cause of action is not disclosed or where sufficient court fees is not paid, or, where the suit appears to be barred by any law [Bonded Labour System Abolition Act, 1976 and Article 19 of Constitution of India]. Court Fees Act, 1870 is applicable on all civil suits. S.35 of Stamp Act is also applicable on a document and such document cannot be received as evidence unless penalty is paid. 

Order 7 Rule 14 mandates that plaint has to enter document in a list and that document has to be produced with the plaint. 

Order 8 deals with written statement. Order 8 Rule 1 proviso outer limit of 120 days.
