Supreme Court Practice

When it comes to SLP(Civil) in Supreme Court, Order XXI R. 6 of SCR, 2013 says that at least 3 spare sets of petition are to be filed. 

When it comes to SLP(Criminal) in Supreme Court, Order XXII Rule 7 (1) deals with process when the petitioner is in jail and is not represented by an AOR ; a petition can still be presented without an AOR also. 

Order XXIX Rule 3 of SCR, 2013 says that dates, sums and figures shall be expressed in figures in pleadings. 

Order 38 Rule 1 of SCR, 2013 permits adjudication of a writ petition by a Single Judge during vacation as well. Order 38 Rule 12 of SCR, 2013 deals with PILs.
