 Calling an Indian a "Pakistani"  Whether Amounts to an Offence ?

S.298 of IPC deals with wounding the religious feelings of a person. In case of Hari Nandan Singh v. State of Jharkhand [2025] GCtR 1528 (SC), it was held that calling someone "Miyan-Tiyan" or "Pakistani" is not an offence under S.298 of IPC, 1860.
