Inducement under S.420 of IPC

Inducement under S.420 of IPC

Dealing with a case related to allegations under S.420 of IPC it was noted in G. Prasad Raghavan v. UT of Pondicherry [2025] GCtR 1601 (SC) that it is not the case of the informant that the accused herein has made any representation or there was any inducement on the part of the present appellant. It is not even the case of the informant that he had made the payment to the present accused for the transaction with regard to the plot in question. Ultimately, application under S.239 for discharge of accused was allowed.
